Aims
Pax-Consultancy aims to enhance the capacities and competencies of humanitarian agencies to effectively respond to humanitarian needs of population, in partricular in the in the context of conflict and war.
Pax-Consultancy aims to support implementation of humanitarian missions in an accountable, transparent and responsible manner, meaning:
• prevent negative consequences on beneficiaries and host communities
• prevent negative repercussions for the humanitarian mission at large
• ensure a positive image of the providing agency
• ensure maximum safety to humanitarian staff
These aims are achieved firstly by generating a thorough understanding of the political context in which operations take place and the manner in which the program (and the staff executing the program) interacts with this environment. Personal safety of staff and beneficiaries is regarded as key pre-condition for accountable effective delivery of humanitarian aid as much as beneficiary integrity and the interests of host communities.
